Use of the Argentinean Hall & Facilities

RENTAL AGREEMENT
The Argentinean Association of South Africa (AASA) offers the use of its Club House, situated in Marks Park Sports
Club, Judith St. Emmarentia, for private events, providing such events conform at all times to the spirit and
Constitution of the Argentinean Club and the Marks Park Sport Club.
- Conditions for the usage of the Argentinean Hall:
1.1 The Argentinean Association of South Africa (AASA) will facilitate the use of the hall, its tables and chairs, as
well as the use of the kitchen, fridges and braai stands to the Subscriber of this agreement.
1.2 The agreement’s subscriber has the right to use the Hall in any chosen date providing that it does not interfere
with any previously established event.
1.3 Compulsory bar service shall be provided by Marks Park Sports Club. (alcoholic or not alcoholic)
1.4 The premises close at 22:00 on weekdays and 0:00 on weekends. If you require stay longer you must arrange
your exit with Marks Park Sports Club Security Services prior to the event.
- Responsibilities
2.1 The agreement’s subscriber will comply and ensure the compliance of his/her guests with appropriate norms of
conduct and decency within the Argentinean Association and/or Marks Park Sport Club premises.
2.2 The agreement’s subscriber will be liable for any loss or damage to the property caused by him/her and /or his/her
guests within Marks Park Sports Club premises.
2.3 The agreement’s subscriber will be responsible for the safety of people and goods during the time the club house
is in use.
2.4 AASA does not accept responsibility for any loss or injury suffered by any person attending a private event.
2.5 The Argentinean Association does not undertake any responsibility for any non-compliant financial commitment
arranged by the Beneficiary using the facilities.
- Requesting the Bar Service
3.1 The use of Mark Park Sports Club Bar Service is compulsory.
3.2 The agreement’s subscriber will contact Marks Park Sports Club Bar Service and inform that the event will take
part in our premises, in which the subscriber has been informed that it “is strictly forbidden to bring beverages
from outside” (privately).
3.3 The agreement’s subscriber is responsible for contacting Marks Park Sport Club authorities three weeks in
advance explaining the characteristics of the event, estimated consumption, special requests, etc.

- Access
4.1 Due to the existent security alarm system a unique personal code will be allocated to the agreement subscriber in
order to access the premises.
4.2 The agreement’s subscriber is responsible for arming the alarm system before leaving the premises.
4.3 The agreement’s subscriber commits him/herself to return the keys of the premises no later than noon the
following day.
- Cleaning
5.1 The hall, kitchen, toilets and garden shall always be kept in perfectly tidy conditions.
5.2 The agreement‘ s subscriber is responsible for the cleaning of the premises after the event has taken place.
5.3 AASA shall not provide cleaning service.
5.4 When in-house catering service is requested the cleaning shall be responsibility of the caterer.

Please note that the date will be reserved upon receiving the Refundable Fee and upheld until the total Hiring Fees are
fully paid (including the Prior Day Fee if required), effected at least 30 days before the event.
SUBSCRIBER DETAILS
FEES • RENTAL: R 5,800 (FIVE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED RAND)
- REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT: R 4,000 (FOUR THOUSAND RAND) T’s & C’s applicable
- OPTIONAL: R 2,900 (TWO THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED RAND) TO BOOK THE DAY PRIOR TO
THE EVENT FOR HALL SETUP - OPTIONAL: R 500 each (FIVE HUNDRED RAND) TO HIRE PATIO GAS HEATERS

GAS HEATERS • TWO (2) OUTDOOR PATIO GAS HEATERS ARE AVAILABLE FOR USE UPON HIRING. THE
SUBSCRIBER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING THE REQUIRED 9KG LPG
CYLINDERS. - AASA DOES NOT SUPPLY GAS, AND THE SUBSCRIBER MUST ENSURE THAT CYLINDERS ARE
INSTALLED CORRECTLY AND SAFELY; - THE PROVISION OF FUEL AND SAFE OPERATION OF SAID EQUIPMENT REMAIN THE
LIABILITY OF THE SUBSCRIBER.
CATERING • OPTIONAL (CONSULT FOR TRADITIONAL ARGENTINEAN BRAAI PRICES)
BAR SERVICE • MANDATORY BAR SERVICE: PROVIDED EXCLUSIVELY BY MARKS PARK SPORTS CLUB –
NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES PERMITTED! - THE SUBSCRIBER ASSUMES FULL AND LEGAL LIABILITY FOR ANY FINES OR PENALTIES
INCURRED DUE TO A BREACH OF THIS REQUIREMENT
TIME LIMIT • THE SUBSCRIBER SHALL REACH AN AGREEMENT WITH MARKS PARK SPORTS CLUB
SECURITY COMPANY PRIOR TO THE EVENT;
CLEANING • MANDATORY TO THE SUBSCRIBER OR RESIDENT CATERING
CANCELLATION FEE • 100% OF DEPOSIT WILL BE RETAINED IF BOOKING IS CANCELLED WITH LESS OF TWO
WEEKS TO THE AGREED DATE
SERVICE NOTE:
The premises are not equipped with backup power or water systems. However, in the event of a utility failure,
the AASA undertakes to assist the subscriber by providing a manual water supply.
Electrical back up to be provided by subscriber if required.
